Currency notes in circulation

205: SHRI DIGVIJAYA SINGH:
Will the Minister of Finance be pleased to state:
(a) the total value and number of currency notes in circulation in the country before demonetisation in 2016, along with the details at present;
(b) the total counterfeit currency seized in the country from 2016 till date;
(c) the counterfeit currency notes in circulation at present according to Government figures;
(d) the number of currency notes seized in the country from the year 2016 to the present, denomination-wise and location-wise; and
(e) the denomination which has the maximum number of counterfeit notes among these currency notes?
