Digvijay Singh criticises Prime Minister Narendra Modi of using religion as a political weapon. In an interview, Singh referred to the issue of the Ram Mandir, for which the Supreme Court has given the order for construction. He alleged that Modi was using this order as a political move to gain favour with certain religious groups. Singh defended his party's decision not to attend the Prana Pratishthan ceremony, arguing it was a political spectacle, and he questioned why it could not have waited until the time of Ram Navami, a Hindu festival.
